Toyota Forklifts #1 World-wide17 Years Running
October 4, 2019Halloween 2019 (and spooky deals)
November 6, 2019Every year here at Industrial Truck Service in Winnipeg we hold long weekend BBQs for staff and management together. Each department gets a turn at tending the grill and bringing their own take on the event.
Each year this series of BBQ events caps off in October and not content to settle for good food, the team takes the opportunity to give back to our community. Through gifts from a variety of vendors, friends, and acquaintances we hold a "silent auction," the proceeds of which go towards the exceptional work done by local charities. These donations are made possible by the generous contributions of staff and management at Industrial Truck Service Ltd. and are made in the company's name.
We have been fortunate in donating the following:
Year 2016 - We’ve donated $1010.00 to Siloam Mission
Year 2017 - We’ve donated $1205.00 to Children’s Wish in honor of Faith Allan
Year 2018 - We’ve donated $1200.00 to The Terry Fox Run in honor of Mark Adkins
Year 2019 - We've donated $1305.00 to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Winnipeg.
Going into the holiday season there are many other possible charities to donate to, so keep them in mind if you find yourself with a few extra dollars or a little extra time this year. From us and our's to you and your's, Happy Holidays!
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Winnipeg provides programs and services to 650-700 youths per year, providing life changing mentoring experiences since 1969-1970. Named one of Financial Post's Top 25 Charities in 2016, Big Brothers Big Sisters provides coaching and mentoring to help at risk young people grow and learn to navigate today's swiftly changing society.
