Richard Urbanovich Retires!

All good things must come to an end

For many years the fine gentleman above served Industrial Truck Service as part of our Customer Sales and Service (CSS) team. Richard Urbanovich's work has extended across both Manitoba and Saskatchewan and for more than a decade and a half here, but today we bid him adieu. A tireless champion of team work and community both here and outside the office, Richard has worked to build up his team mates and create a welcoming atmosphere for all. His longtime work with the Manitoba Bisons football team spanned decades, and his calm and measured demeanor helped make him as successful there as he was with us.

Our customers also thought at least as highly as we do above Richard, and the last weeks have been filled with goodbyes and handovers as Richard passes his CSS torch on to Isha Dhaliwal, who will be taking care of our customers that Richard previously took care of.

Today all of our Manitoba branch members came together to bid Richard all the best as he transitions from the life of a high-powered salesman and into that of being the chief cook and bottle washer of Grandpa Inc. His family was with us today as we all said so long to Richard so they got to see some of the impact he'd made on the lives of us who worked for him. We're sure his new-found "free time" will find him at least as busy as we kept him, and we look forward to the odd visit now and then when Richard starts feeling nostalgic.

If anyone didn't manage to catch him before today, we'll do our best to pass along any well wishes.
